From April 2009 Newsletter:
Stewardship as offered by the Bishops of the Antilles in 2003 through their Pastoral Letter entitled, “Stewardship and the Revitalization of Parish Life in the Caribbean”, was officially launched in the Diocese by His Lordship Bishop Francis Alleyne, OSB in April 2008. During the past year Stewardship has been introduced in four parish communities.
Beginning in September 2008 the Diocesan Stewardship Council carried out Missions at Our Lady of the Annunciation, Malgre Tout and Our Lady of the Assumption, Hague. As a follow up to the Missions in these two communities, a Parish Stewardship Conference was held in February 2009. The Council is presently working with the newly formed Parish Stewardship committees of Malgre Tout and Hague to forge the way forward.
