The Life in the Spirit Seminars hosted by the Catholic Charismatic Renewal will continue tomorrow evening (Monday April 27th) at the Cathedral of the Immaculate, Brickdam from 6:00 p.m.
The Catholic Charismatic Renewal invites you their Prayer Breakfast to be held on Tuesday May 5th at Marian Academy at 7:30 a.m. Tickets cost $1,500 each. Guest speakers will be His Lordship Bishop Francis Alleyne, O.S.B. and Vicar General Monsignor Terrence Montrose.
The Electoral Assistance Bureau is looking for Election Day Volunteers to work on Election Day, May 11, 2015. Volunteers should be persons resident in Guyana, registered to vote and in possession of a valid ID card.
As we celebrate the Risen Lord, the members of the Pastoral Area Priest Team and the staff of the Pastoral Area Secretariat would like to wish all parishioners a Happy and safe Easter. For our young parishioners – please enjoy your kite flying and do stay away from the electrical wires.
The Sacrament of Baptism will be administered throughout the Pastoral Area on Sunday April 19th 2015 to infants in Parishes where necessary. In the event that there is a Parish Service on that date, the Sacrament will be administered on the following Sunday.
The Pontifical High Mass will be held on Easter Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at the Cathedral Brickdam. The celebrant will be His Lordship Bishop Francis Alleyne, OSB. All are invited.
The Parish of the Holy Spirit in North Ruimveldt, will celebrate its 30th Anniversary on Sunday April 12th, 2015. The week-long celebration will commence with the celebration of Mass on Sunday at which His Lordship Bishop Francis Alleyne O.S.B. will be the celebrant.
The Pastoral Area Catechetical Team has organized a meeting for all coordinators, assistant coordinators and coordinating teams of Parish Catechesis next Saturday March 21st beginning at 1.30pm in the Boardroom, Cathedral Presbytery, Brickdam.
As part of the on-going Visioning Exercise there will be a two day meeting at Marian Academy with Fr Peter Mc Isaac, S.J. and Sr. Mary Chin on the Saturday March 14th and Sunday March 15th. The meeting will begin at 9.30 a.m. each day.
